Large-Scale Migration from On-Premise to AWS Public Cloud.
A major financial institution with $938 billion in assets sought to migrate from on-premise to AWS public cloud, the first time the institution was putting workloads that contained personally identifiable information (PII) into the cloud. Keeping information secure and getting it right the first time was key. Translating their security posture to the cloud environment and re-architecting the infrastructure and applications to work with cloud services were the biggest challenges. We were able to create a best-practice template across teams of AWS services experienced people, paving the way for future migration of workloads from on-premises to public cloud to increase agility and efficiency for all lines of businesses of the financial institution.
